The material provides an insight into his artistic processes, his working methods and inspiration. His passion for the natural environment, birds and the bush is evident and becomes an essential source of motivation. We get to know the person, his interests and concerns.

The artworks of other artists helps place John’s work in context and reveals similar concerns but with different ways of interpreting and presenting. The resource also provides stimulation for students own art making. The use of drawing materials, papers, inks and charcoal will inspire and challenge students. Teachers across science, geography, history, English and philosophy will also find this resource of value”.
